WTMJ is the longtime radio home of the Milwaukee Brewers and carries Milwaukee Bucks coverage subject to league streaming restrictions. Beginning with the 2026 fall season, WTMJ also became a Milwaukee home for Wisconsin Badgers sports under a multi-year agreement. Games, breaking news, and special broadcasts may pre-empt the regular program lineup.
The station first signed on in July 1927 and moved to 620 AM in October 1928. Its history includes early live sports broadcasts, agricultural coverage, locally produced news, and technical innovations in directional AM transmission. WTMJ broadcasts with 50,000 watts by day and 10,000 watts at night under its FCC authorization.
Listeners can hear the same service on 103.3 FM through Milwaukee translator W277CV as well as through the official WTMJ online stream used by the player on this page. WTMJ is licensed to Good Karma Broadcasting and operates from Good Karma Brands’ downtown Milwaukee offices.
