About the station
Listen to NYC Media online
WNYE 91.5 FM is New York City’s noncommercial municipal radio service, managed and operated by NYC Media within the Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment. It serves the metropolitan area around the clock with programming intended to inform, educate and reflect the city’s diverse communities.
The station broadcasts from the 4 Times Square tower on 91.5 FM with 2 kW. NYC Media’s production handbook states that WNYE-FM does not broadcast in HD Radio, and no additional analog frequency was confirmed.
The official NYC Media schedule page is available, but its current grid contains no named programs. We therefore do not publish guessed show times; the page can be updated when NYC Media restores a complete schedule.
No official public WNYE online stream is currently offered on NYC Media’s station page. This listing is frequency-only for now. WNYE is operated by the City of New York; no sister radio station was confirmed.
Records name New York City Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications as the owner or licensee.
