WMEA 90.1 FM carries Maine Public Radio to Greater Portland and parts of southern Maine and New Hampshire. Start the live stream above for statewide reporting, NPR news, public affairs, culture and listener conversations.
Maine Calling airs weekdays from 11 a.m. to noon Eastern and is rebroadcast from 8 to 9 p.m. The full daily lineup is maintained in Maine Public’s interactive guide and may change for legislative coverage, breaking news and specials.
WMEA is part of a statewide radio network also heard from Calais, Greenville, Millinocket, Camden, Bangor, Bethel, Waterville, Presque Isle and Fort Kent. Maine Public Classical is a separate service carried on HD2 and additional translators, not a backup stream for WMEA.
