97 Rock (WGRF 96.9 FM) is Buffalo’s classic-rock station, pairing a broad rock library with locally presented weekday and weekend shows. The regular lineup includes Shredd & Ragan, Jim Jacka, Megan Carter, Jickster, and specialty programs such as Breakfast with the Beatles and Get the Led Out.
The frequency signed on as Q-FM-97 on February 10, 1975. After a three-year absence of the 97 Rock identity, the station returned to classic rock in September 1988. Its continuing connection with Western New York includes concert coverage, local personalities, Buffalo sports interruptions, and archive-focused features built around decades of rock music.
WGRF broadcasts on 96.9 FM and is owned by Cumulus Media. The player uses the official direct WGRF MP3 stream, while the full weekly schedule below is displayed in Eastern Time.
