FTC Sound Stream is Five Towns College’s student-operated online radio service, produced from the Gene Free Studios in Dix Hills. Start the live stream above for a mix of Hot AC music, student specialty shows, talk, campus news, sports and remote broadcasts.
The service was formerly known as WFTU 1570 AM. Five Towns College now describes it as an internet-based station and directs listeners to the FTC Sound Stream app for the changing student schedule. The former WFTU call letters left 1570 AM in 2024, so this page does not present WFTU as a current terrestrial frequency.
Students and staff operate the service as part of the college’s Mass Communication program. Daily broadcasts are also archived through Mixcloud. No sister broadcast station was confirmed.
