About the station
Listen to Yellowstone Public Radio online
KEMC 91.7 FM is the Billings flagship of Yellowstone Public Radio. Start the live stream above for Montana and northern Wyoming reporting, NPR news, public affairs, classical music, jazz, blues and cultural programs.
The YPR service includes Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Performance Today, Afternoon Jazz and locally produced reporting. Its live online guide is the authoritative schedule; separate Jazz YPR, Classical YPR and YPR2 News & Talk streams are companion services, not backup feeds for KEMC.
Operated by Montana State University Billings, KEMC feeds a regional network of 12 full-power repeaters plus translators across Montana and northern Wyoming. The former HTTP-only stream has been replaced with YPR’s official secure 96 kbps MP3 service.
