Albany Radio Stations

Albany has 10 active full-power AM and FM stations whose FCC city of license is Albany, New York: three on the AM band and seven on FM. The local dial includes public radio, news and talk, adult contemporary, classic hits, rock, country, Catholic programming, and the student-run sound of the University at Albany.

We manually matched every FCC facility to its current identity and reviewed online listening on July 29, 2026. Eight station pages have a verified HTTPS stream. WCDB 90.9 and 107.7 GNA remain in the frequency directory, but their individual pages are not being published yet because a stable direct web stream could not be confirmed from their official sites during this review.

This page follows FCC city of license rather than the entire Albany–Schenectady–Troy radio market. Stations licensed to nearby communities can still serve the Capital Region, but they appear on their own city pages and in the broader Albany radio-market guide. Translator and simulcast frequencies promoted by a station are not counted here as separate Albany full-power facilities.
